Week 7, Day 2

This week you’ll be hearing from two Expert Guest Speakers, Dr. Monique Pappadis on Tuesday and Dr. Yelena Goldin on Thursday. You’ll also have the opportunity to hear other experts via webinars and podcasts.

There are three tasks to do today:

• OPTIONAL: Sign up for a 15 minute slot if you’d like to talk with Conor about the Newsletter Editing process for one of your synopses. The times have changed due to the TBI Speaker series, but you can sign up at this link.

• Podcast:

  • Following Dr. Savage’s talk regarding pediatric TBI and wanting to give you all some more multimedia education, we want you to listen to Concussion Corner with Dr. Jessica Schwartz. This is the gold standard of Concussion podcasts, and two of their recent episodes were related to pediatric concussions.

• Finish any reading you need to do for today’s speaker, Dr. Monique Pappadis. Also, we’d like you to prepare at least one question for Dr. Pappadis before her talk at 12pm PST.

• Reminders for those working in Squarespace:

  • Always make sure that you are not making changes to a live page.

  • Squarespace has no version control. If you make changes to a page and then save that change, you cannot get the original version back. This applies to editing from two computers as well; Squarespace also does not support two active editors, so make sure that only one person is editing a page at a time. Squarespace has even had trouble when someone else has the page selected but is not editing, it can be really finicky.
